TKT Module 1 Course

This course is provided by the ACE TEFL team in collaboration with Study Rooms.

Participants: This course is intended for:

  • Those who wish to become English language teachers
  • Teachers who wish to get a globally recognised qualification and prove their teaching knowledge.

Duration and Schedule: The course comprises 30 contact hours including seminars and workshops. Participants also complete a number of tasks in their own time and do some recommended background studying.

Delivery mode: The course is delivered online via Zoom or face-to-face.

Tuition fees: The fee for this course is €220 (£198).

Start date: February 8th, 2021

Course Description: Participants take part in live sessions and workshops exploring terms and concepts of English language learning and teaching. In particular, they study such areas of language as grammar, lexis, phonology, and the different types of classroom activities and tasks used to present and practise these in the classroom. Participants also study language skills, such as reading, listening, speaking, and writing, and how these can be developed effectively in a lesson. Finally, a number of other major factors are explored, such as learner characteristics and different ways to test learners, so that lessons can be beneficial and enjoyable to all learners in a group.
