ACE TEFL MasterClass is a new series of specialist workshops for experienced teachers. Each MasterClass workshop will be led by a teacher educator with considerable expertise and extensive experience in the topic.
Materials Design MasterClass

This is a workshop for experienced teachers who, inevitably, often find themselves adapting coursebook materials or creating their own. The following topics will be explored:
– Selecting source materials and texts
– Task design for skills development
– Task design for grammar and vocabulary practice
Participants will examine a variety of task types for different areas of language use and different levels and will get hands-on experience in designing tasks and teaching materials
The workshop will be led by George Vassilakis, Director of ACE TEFL. In addition to his teacher training experience, George has also developed teaching materials for different types of courses and types and levels of students; he has published 21 course books and supplementary skills books over the last thirty years.
All participants will receive an ACE TEFL MasterClass Certificate of Attendance.
