ACE TEFL was founded in January 2021, as a teacher development centre for teachers of English to speakers of other languages. We are a centre authorised by Cambridge English. Cambridge English is part of the University of Cambridge and helps millions of people learn English and prove their skills to the world.
George Vassilakis, the Centre Director, started teaching English in 1985 and training teachers in 1990. An approved CELTA trainer and DELTA trainer and assessor, George has worked on hundreds of CELTA and DELTA courses over the years.
George is also an ELT author and has written more than twenty coursebooks for international publishers, such as Macmillan and Cengage. In addition, he has extensive ELT management experience as Academic Director in language school chains, language testing organisations and teacher training centres.
