About

ACE TEFL was founded by George Vassilakis and Alexander Makarios in January 2021, as a teacher development centre for teachers of English to speakers of other languages. We are a centre authorised by Cambridge Assessment English. Cambridge Assessment English is part of the University of Cambridge and helps millions of people learn English and prove their skills to the world.

Alexander and George, the directors of ACE TEFL, have years of experience of designing, managing and teaching on Cambridge courses for teachers of English. In addition, they have trained thousands of teachers on non-qualifying courses, including introductory, pre-service workshops and courses as well as in-service training courses and specialist workshops for schools, associations, publishers and universities.
