This webinar focuses on building and maintaining rapport in the face to face as well as in the online classroom environment. Alexander Makarios will explore ways in which we can create the best classroom conditions for our students to learn, respond to challenges, and hopefully thrive; not just for one stand-alone lesson, but for a whole course, and beyond.
12.15 – 13:15 (EET): Speak now of forever hold your peace?
This webinar focuses on how to manage teacher talk in the classroom. George Vassilakis will review the types and purposes of teacher talk, discuss what quality teacher talk consists of and offer a range of practical suggestions for maximising learner participation and controlling teacher talk while at the same time not depriving learners of useful teacher input.
